Declaration of Result of Trustee Election, and Notice of Annual General Meeting for Ngāti Rārua Iwi Trust and Ngāti Rārua Settlement Trust
Nominations Received
Nominations for three (3) Trustees of the Ngāti Rārua Iwi Trust and Ngāti Rārua Settlement Trust (collectively known as Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua) closed at 4pm on Thursday 15 October 2020. The following members have been duly nominated:
- LUKE, Andrew (Anaru)
- PIGGOTT, Rima
- THOMAS, Renee
As the number of candidates does not exceed the number of vacancies, a physical election is not required, and Andrew (Anaru) LUKE, Rima PIGGOTT and Renee THOMAS are duly declared elected trustees.
Annual General Meeting
Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua are pleased to announce that an Annual General Meeting will be held at the Scenic Hotel, 65 Alfred Street, Blenheim at 10.30am on Saturday 21 November 2020.
Matters to be discussed at the Annual General Meeting are as follows:
1. Karakia timatanga
2. Mihimihi
3. Annual Report for 2019-2020
4. Appoint Auditor
5. Farewell and welcome Trustees
6. Lunch (12.30pm)
The Trust’s Annual Report and 2019 AGM minutes will be available after 16 November 2020 from the Trust offices at 15 Kinross Street, Blenheim and 56 Vickerman Street, Port Nelson or www.ngatirarua.co.nz or at the AGM.
