    Ko Te Mana o te Wai, he mana taketake. Mā wai e kawe, e hiki i te mana o te wai Māori? Mā tātou.

    Water has always had mana. Who will uplift and carry the mana of freshwater? We all will.

    Are you looking for an opportunity to be involved in a kaupapa Māori project management role focused on te mana o te wai?  Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to support a collaborative project by ngā iwi o Te Tauihu.

    Our group, Te Kāhui Waipuna, is undertaking a three-year project to build our capacity and capability so that we can participate in the co-design of National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management planning framework with Te Tauihu councils.  The ultimate aims of our project are the protection and restoration of the mauri and mana of wai plus improved opportunities for iwi, hapū and whānau participation in freshwater management.

    We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER who is a self starter; who is passionate about working in a kaupapa Māori environment; and has great organisational skills.
