    Stallholders wanted: Te Pātaka o Wairau 2021

    Te Pātaka o Wairau are excited to host our next Māori Night Market on Friday 5 February 2021 (Waitangi Weekend). We love to enjoy the atmosphere created and many wonderful business’ Toi Māori art and craft, rongoā and especially your beautiful kai so whānau ma nau mai, haere mai, hoki mai.

    We are seeking stallholders for the next Te Pātaka o Wairau, being held at Seymour Square on Friday 5 February 2021, open to the public from 4.00 p.m to 8.00 p.m.

    Te Pātaka o Wairau is a celebration of small to medium sized Māori businesses, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your products and talent to the general public during an evening of Māori kai, arts, products, kapa haka and entertainment. It’s all about celebrating Te Ao Māori, and it’s all about whānau!

    The event celebrates the Ngāti Rārua, Rangitāne and Ngāti Toa connection to the Wairau River, respecting how important the river is to their wellbeing through the generations.

    Under the umbrella of the three local manawhenua iwi, Ngati Rarua, Rangitane and Ngati Toarangatira, we invite you to enjoy this free event as part of Waitangi Day celebrations.

    To receive the early bird rates, your registration and payment must be received by the 21 December 2020.

    No registrations will be accepted after Thursday 28 January 2021.
