He Kura Ika Waiti takes you on a journey into the rivers, streams, and wetlands of the Tasman District, following the remarkable lives of our native freshwater fish.

Through breathtaking aerial, above-water, and underwater footage, the film reveals the beauty of our local waterways.

It highlights the challenges fish face as they migrate along rivers and between freshwater and the sea, and shows how simple changes can make a big difference for nature.

Whether you're a river walker, a whanau looking for a relaxed Sunday outing, or just curious about what lives in our waterways, this film is for you.

Light refreshments will be offered after the film.
