The goal of the Creative Pathways course is for ākonga to be supported to be authentic, confident & thrive as Kaitiaki.

NZ2218 Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) with optional strand in Self-Management and Employability Skills
- NCEA level: 2
- Credits: 60
- Location: Mohua- Golden Bay (transport included)
- Timetable: Monday- Thursday 8:30-4:30pm
- Starts/Ends: 28 April- 18 September
- Course cost: Fully funded through TEC with Study Link support available for those eligible
- Criteria to apply: 16-24 and don’t have NCEA level 2
What happens each week:
- Outdoor adventure such as waka, climbing, kayaking, hiking and more.
- Practical skills such as fencing, chainsaw use, beekeeping, tree planting, trapping and quad bikes
- Growing your confidence in yourself through bushcraft, cooking, communication and employment skills
- As a team you run a project and learn the budgeting, time-management and planning need to run your own business
- Mentorship with like-minded people
- Opportunity for the course to include your interests and strengths
