Free flu vaccinations

Flu is still circulating widely, and it’s not too late to get vaccinated. From 1 September 2026 children aged 6 months to under 5 years of age are now eligible for free flu vaccines.

There are two priority groups:

• Children aged 6 months until they turn 5 years old
• People aged 65 years and over, who continue to be eligible for a free flu vaccine and are encouraged to receive one if they haven’t already.
