Warm, safe whare – and the whānau who make them home
As we prepare for tonight’s Waikārapi uri launch, we’re reflecting on what this kaupapa is all about – helping whānau realise their dreams of a home that’s truly their own.

In Berryfields, Te Te Tauihu, the first Ka Uruora whānau have just moved into their homes.
With support from our iwi partners and Hāpai Housing, these whare are more than houses – they’re places of security, belonging, and new beginnings.
There’s still time to register to come along to Ūkaipō this afternoon at 5:30 pm. Register or learn more: www.waikarapi.nz/uri-pre-release
