    Roles in Mauri Ora and Hononga team

    Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua is wanting to extend capacity and capability in its Mauri Ora (Cultural) and Hononga (Social) team and invites expressions of interest in the following newly established roles across Te Tauihu:

    Pou-a-iwi Whakatū (1 position available)

    This permanent fulltime position reporting to the Pou Mauri Ora will be based in Whakatū (Nelson} and aims to support the Cultural & Social aspirations of Ngāti Rārua whānau, the development of relevant cultural and social drivers, to achieve the Vision of ‘Kia Pai te Noho’ (To Live Well).  You will be a ‘kanohi kitea’ that connects whānau of all generations to their Ngāti Rārua identity.

    Pou-a-iwi Wairau (2 positions available)

    This permanent fulltime position reporting to the Pou Mauri Ora will be based in Wairau (Marlborough) and aims to support the Cultural & Social aspirations of Ngāti Rārua whānau, the development of relevant cultural and social drivers, to achieve the Vision of ‘Kia Pai te Noho’ (To Live Well).  You will be a ‘kanohi kitea’ that connects whānau of all generations to their Ngāti Rārua identity.

    Pou Taituarā (1 position available)

    This permanent fulltime position reporting to the Pou Mauri Ora will be based in Whakatū (Nelson). The role will work within the Mauri Ora & Hononga team to provide a range of administrative supports. The team focuses on the Cultural & Social aspirations of Ngāti Rārua whānau, the development of relevant cultural and social drivers, to achieve the Vision of ‘Kia Pai te Noho’ (To Live Well).  You will work closely with the Pou-a-Iwi supporting the implementation and coordination of Ngāti Rārua initiatives.

    Please note the indicative salary band for each role is $65-80k. Final remuneration offered will align with qualifications and experience of preferred candidates.
