35 or over? Free Covid-19 testing - even for those with no symptoms

Kia ora e te whānau, we’re at Level 2, but let’s not get complacent.

This week, Nelson Marlborough Health are conducting asymptomatic testing for Covid-19, targeting the Māori population of Te Tauihu aged 35 and older.

This testing is completely voluntary and will happen at Community-Based Assessment Centres across the rohe, from Tuesday May 19 to Sunday, May 24.

Please watch this video message from Dr Ricki-Lea Aitchison, the GP Registrar and Models of Care Clinical Co-lead for Nelson Marlborough Health, who has more information on the testing programme.

For more about Dr Aitchison, why testing is even happening and what you need to do if you’d like to get tested, check out the Q&A below.
