Grovetown Lagoon Guided Tour and Free Sausage Sizzle

Saturday 3rd February 2024 9am Steam Wharf Road, Grovetown  

To support World Wetland Day, the community group known as Te Whānau Hou are inviting everyone on a guided tour of the lagoon and its facilities. 

There’s a free sausage sizzle at the end, and the walk is suitable for all ages. 

Come and enjoy the serenity of this sanctuary (and the hundreds of birds that live there!). 

The project is a combined effort between:

• Grovetown community 
• Marlborough District Council 
• Department of Conservation
