Communications Project
As part of our Hononga social strategy, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua engaged our whanaunga Challen Wilson & Mona-Pauline Mangakāhia from The Sister Consultancy (based in Auckland & Wellington) to develop our integrated communications strategy and toolkit. They worked alongside, whanaunga, Kingi Gilbert from Ignite Studios (based in Auckland & Hawai'i) to develop the new website. The strategy is multi-tiered and has been working on connecting with whānau to understand their aspirations. From the months of February through to October much work has been acheived, such as:
- Interviews have been captured with the Trustees
- Research has been conducted, analysed and reported on
- Whanaungatanga events have been run in Motueka, Blenheim & Auckland
- Website has been upgraded
- Social media has become more active
- A communications toolkit has been developed to support effective communications
